Ralph and the team are fantastic - I’ve been going here for about 20 years and my husband for longer. They do a great job. As a young woman I often felt stressed at other repair shops, like I was being talked down to, brushed off, and sometimes outright lied to. (My husband has also had nightmares at other repair shops.) But at Brutus, I’ve always felt respected and like I was getting a good job and honest assessment about whatever my cars have needed.

This was my first time at Brutus and I scheduled an oil change to start things off. The service was awesome, done in the amount of time stated. I was notified of a couple of pricey repairs that needed to be done, but the guy who was telling me what was needed seemed to really want to try to save me money and was trying to find a less expensive option for one of the repairs. I went ahead and scheduled one of the two repairs needed for next week. Fingers crossed that the second repair ends up being less money than the quote I got :-)

Excellent high-quality service! Brutus is my go-to auto shop for any general repairs. Many times my car is ready earlier than anticipated and the work is always done professionally and without any issues leaving the shop. Ralph the owner is great and a knowledgeable resource. The first time I had my car serviced there he called me with updates and brought me over to show me the specific unexpected issues that he found while my car was on the lift and was able to explain in detail what he recommended. Since then I have been going to them for every oil change and anything else if I am able to. If you call to schedule an appt you will likely talk to Kevin who is easy to work with and does a fantastic job with updates and checking in to see what extra service or issues are ok to address. The whole crew is fantastic and the techs are fast but get the job done right every time.

Honest advice. Professional service. Always willing to provide honest advice about the repairs that need to be done right away, while keeping an eye on things that may need to wait based on my budget.

Great troubleshooting & replacement on my 2007 Saab 95. My engine indicator light came on for a second time 2 days after antifreeze was added to satisfy the first engine indicator light. So, I took my car to the shop for diagnosis and it was determined that the temperature sensor (replaced in 2017) was faulty so required replacement. Rather than have me come back later that week, the shop called and quickly obtained a replacement and installed it while I waited!

Always ready to serve! OK, I must be brief - on a scale of 1-10, Brutus is a 10+1! I have been recommending Brutus to many for the last 20+ years. I’m most thankful to have them!

They always treat me with courtesy and respect. They are very specific about the repairs and my options. As a woman, it is important to be able to discuss any diagnostics with them and not feel like they are trying to talk “over my head”. I am very pleased with this company and plan to stay with them as long as I am still able to drive a vehicle!

Awesome Service! I was able to schedule my appointment online and they called me within 10 minutes to confirm the appointment and discuss the issue. My car was repaired quickly for a very fair price. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. We found our auto repair shop!

Great help diagnosing a problem on an old car! My 2002 BMW has some handling issues that I want to sort. Sometimes, a professional opinion paired with a proper shop can save you a lot of time diagnosing an issue. The folks at Brutus were great help in confirming my suspicions, and now there’s a plan of attack to restore some of the deteriorated handling on my car.

Have now used Brutus Auto 3 times in the last few years - and every time was a great experience. I’m not a fan of spending on car repairs - and I know less than nothing about what I need and when. I just want someone, in this case the owner Ralph, I can trust to do the job, on time and at a reasonable price. I have now had brakes, tires and other minor fixes done on my Ford Taurus, Ford Explorer, Nissan Altima, and most recently my Honda CR-V. I now live in MA and still drive to the shop in Manchester to get the work done. There’s a reason many local cops, firefighters, and business owners use Brutus - and you should too.

My car was picked up at my home first thing in the morning and delivered back to my home mid- afternoon. A loaner vehicle was provided for my use! All repairs (gasket and new muffler) and service (oil change, brake check) were done. Brutus Auto has been my mechanic for about 15 years now and always provides quality work.

They are all very good at what they do. They do not sell you more than your vehicle needs. I drive an older Jeep. It is difficult to get a technician who can properly service/repair them. Working with Brutus I’ve been able to “catch up” with the normal aging of items. They are fair and honest. Refreshing. It is, once again, fun to drive this vehicle.

I have recommended Brutus Auto to others because they are fair, honest, and do a great job for their customers. They are very accommodating, which helps with my sometimes crazy schedule. And most important, they are genuinely nice, good people.

Excellent service! Brutus has been very accommodating with scheduling and helping with servicing as well as other issues that are not mechanical...(leaking windshield). They have been taking care of my son’s car while I’m 2900 miles away, I really appreciate their honesty and integrity as well as fair pricing.
